Football: River Hill v Atholton
Our current poll asks the fans what their game of the week is for the first week of the 2008 Howard County football season. Well, the Scholastic Sports Net's Game of the Week is the River Hill Hawks v. Atholton Raiders.

Now this means more than just our opinion that this is the best game going on this week. This means that we'll have three cameras at the game. This means that we'll have a professional commentary broadcast crew. And this means that this game will be available on the Scholastic Sports Net website (www.watchssn.com) beginning the following morning (Saturday, September 6).

The Hawks are coming off of a 2A State Championship and return a slew of unbelievable talent across the board. They have looked good in preseason scrimmages and have one of the best young coaches in the state in Brian VanDeusen.

The Raiders have a superstar in Matt Robinson who plays both ways and is a presence in special teams. Chuck Fales will utilize a potent passing attack this year and is matching up against the Hawks at a good time.

Not only are we excited about the game, but we're going to blow you away with the production. Check it out this weekend because you are truly going to experience "television on the internet"!
