River Hill's Redd Impresses Michigan Coaches

At a one-day camp in Michigan yesterday (6/17/08), River Hill speedster Malek Redd impressed attending college coaches and recruiters after twice being clocked at 4.27 in the 40.

In fact, according to family and friends close to the situation, Central Michigan told Malek that he was just the running back that they have been searching for and supposedly made him a scholarship offer. This offer would be very enticing to Malek considering Central Michigan runs a spread offense in which 4.27 speed could be a real asset, even as a freshman.

University of Michigan coaches also seemed quite impressed and an offer could be on the way.
