Growing up in a family of athletes, Wilde Lake's Matt Bounds said he was destined to play sports.
These days, Bounds, the youngest of three siblings, is fulfilling that destiny as a two-way performer for the Wildecat football team, replacing All-County center David Klotz on offense and playing nose guard on defense.
The 17-year-old senior recently discussed his outlook for the team, his plans and his feelings about the impending retirement of longtime Wilde Lake coach Doug DuVall.
