DuVall Watch - 297 and Counting!

This Friday, Wilde Lake Head Coach Doug Duvall goes for win number 298 as the Wildecats take on Hammond. This is Doug’s 36th and last season coaching the Wildecats. Besides winning 297 games, his teams also have captured five state championships and 20 Howard County titles. Duvall recently told the Baltimore Sun that his best memories are of the kids he’s coached. He said those relationships and friendships mean more to him than any win. He did leave open the possibility of coaching again, even perhaps on the collegiate level. The high school coaching fraternity in Maryland just won’t be quite the same without Doug standing on the sidelines and we wish him all the best in whatever comes next for him.
